A multimedia dance production by Wolfgang H Scholz
The film images show the dance recorded in a rehearsal at the same length for performance. The dancer meets in mirrored movement (two projections). This creates a feeling as if there were three characters. These unite on stage and yet are again torn apart by the coincidence of the changing projection (for purely technical reasons, there is always a small time delay when playing the individual projection).
There are places where images are created that are new due to the randomness coincidence of the meeting. There is overlap, but no commenting or interpreting the images, movements or sounds. A change in speed and rhythm creates a different movement - sound - image - association. It's about movement in relation to time. About the non-existent, the so-called goal - beginning and end of a route.
The performance consist of 6 parts
1.Act: The longing - the search, the illusion of the beginning of the “archetypal beginning” the longing for a partner etc. etc.
2.Act: Encountering - possibilities narrow down
3.Act: Discovering - finding, the coincidence of the encounter
4.Act: Getting used to it - the experience, the compromise, that living together
5.Act: Destroying - losing, separation begins
6.Act: Losing - end and new beginning, repetition, beginning of longing, experience and fear, again next, life in a spiral world of experience.
