Ein multimediale Inszenierung von Wolfgang H Scholz
Two women move in a spheric world, they are balancing their weight in a sea of white cloth. It is a real and a dream world at the same time. They submerge into another world leaving this one behind. The new place is cold, plastic world in which two men live. The women get separated, and each one lives a different experience with one of the men, a partner relationship.
We, accompany them in their encounters, their fears, their aggressions etc. in a combination of body language, movement, sound atmosphere, stage settings, and filmed images.
The film, that begins at the arrival of the women in the other world ties the story of the dancers on stage with symbolic images of the searches and discoveries of humanity as a whole. Death and destruction are ordered through a rhythm that is tied to the one that is happening on stage.
It becomes a triangular relationship between the two couples and the projections, closed into the stage- landscape.
It is about a search of oneself in relation to the other. How can one move in such a context, what can one experience?
When the women disappear at the end of the piece wrapped in a cocoon, it is for them the beginning of a new beginning, filled with the unknown; but they have acquired experience with which to face the new life.
It is a nearly closed circle.
